Initial Certification Examination Dates
Part II (Oral) Exam (virtual): May 14 15, 2021
Eligible candidates will receive registration and fee 
information soon. The fee will be paid online via the 
ABTS portal page.

Eligible candidates must hold a valid ABTS primary thoracic
certificate in order to take the Congenital Oral examination.

Initial Certification Application:
May 15 – August 15, 2021

Part I (Written) Exam: December 13, 2021

Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Dates
MOC Congenital 5-year Applications: June 28 – September 10, 2021

Diplomates who are eligible to complete their Congenital MOC milestone
will submit the application via the ABTS portal webpage.

Leave of Absence Policy - NEW
